There was a time when I would jump on the back of a friend’s bike with no idea where we were going or what we were going to do when we got there. It was fun in the day – but I am not 12 anymore.
The Mataverse keeps calling with vague promises about digital worlds, new realities and blind trust. They say it’s the future as though we don’t have any choice in the matter. Big tech is in the driver’s seat, and we had all better jump on board or get left behind.
Does anyone know where all this is headed? Doesn’t make sense to invest billions of dollars into building a road without a destination. If there is an end goal in mind, is it a place we really want to go?
I’m far too fond of nature trails and sparkling beaches to spend time in a digital world without good reason. This is why Picturethis3D uses digital technology at a level that solves problems facing real people in the physical world. Solutions to those problems were hashed out long before the first line of code was written with the wisdom that technology is not always the best solution.
Picturethis3D is fun and easy to use, but it is not a game. We know exactly where we are going because our customers have told us.
